A film finally getting it's just deserves. I hope the same can be said for a widescreen version of Phantasm II soon. I fell in love with this series back around 1980 when I saw the original on cable. Awesome...weird...bizarre...and cool. Nothing else like it...nothing. It's a shame studio execs seem to think there's more of a possible return on their investment with rehashed slasher pics than a series like this. Far more original than any Friday sequel or clone, these films grab you and won't let go. Get ready for one heck of a ride when the Tall Man arrives in your town!
<br />
<br />I hope and pray Don Coscarelli can finally make the final Phantasm soon!

I ordered two other Dvds with this one and Brainy Baby-Spanish was the best. It kept my 23 month old engaged, while 123 Cuentame un Cuento is a bit advanced and Galloping Minds -- I did not care for at all -- anyone can hold up flash cards! In any event, Brainy Baby-Spanish was worth the buy. I am a spanish speaking mother who wanted to find a good product for my daughter while I am at work so she may study the language while she is at home since my sitter only speaks limited spanish. Thank you Brainy Baby!

i read all the reviews over a long space of time for these (set of 3) dvd's. many people said it's not for spanish as second language speakers, and it's definitely not... what a disappointment. completely for children who probably only speak spanish at home, and whose parents are spanish solely. i know some conversational spanish, and my husband even more, and neither i nor my husband could make an inkling of what the story line was in these dvd's...how could our 2 year old? i even watched the informational section to see if they described the words they used regularly, but too hard to follow. very fast speaking, with no words written on screen, or clear pronunciations. confusing, and frustrating. ihad to send it back to Amazon, we'd never use it again... I really was hoping these would be great teaching aids for our daughter to learn more spanish words, but i recommend searching for another aid.

Not as interesting as the original or part IV, but worth watching. The ending sets up #IV nicely.

I really hate this movie. This movie go me so mad! Mike Baldwin is back though. Thank god, if i saw that other muscelly guy, id never of watched this. I cant stand the Home Alone cliche'd kid. Dont worry though in the 4th installment of phantasm they never tell us what happened to him. Im pretty happy about that. I dont like being mean about stuff but it reallybored me. Stick to the first movie. I cant wait for the 5th one. If it ever comes out....

"Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss"
<br />
<br />The Kiss
<br />
<br />Amos Lassen
<br />
<br />"Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss" is the story of a struggling gay photographer, Billy (Sean Hayes), who is tired of being the other man. He falls in love with Gabriel, an aspiring musician and waiter who is in all probability straight. Billy tries to get Gabriel (Brad Rowe) to model for his new project which is a series of photographs based on famous Hollywood screen kisses. At the same time, Billy tries to win Gabriel's affections. There is sexual tension between the two men.
<br />	Hayes is wonderful as Billy and Paul Bartel is superb as Billy's mentor and the film is a lot of fun. The issue of gay boy/straight boy is played with dignity and Tommy O'Haver has done an amazing job as director. The characters are believable and you may very well recognize the behavior of someone you know. O'Haver blends stereotype and reality into a totally believable film and we learn that in terms of physical attraction there is very little difference between heterosexuals and homosexuals. Here is a film about relationships and how difficult they are regardless of sexual orientation. Furthermore the film is like dessert--very sweet. It only asks us to sit back and enjoy. There is a lot to look at and plenty of good looking people. "Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss" manages to maintain the "will he/won't he?" after the audience gives up hoping that Billy and Gabriel will find happiness. It is enough for me to say that I won't say if the two come together but the ending is something else.

The best cast member/character was a female hetero-sexual with a sense of wit and charm. The gay guys were okay...but not much to sympathize with. The whole Polaroid "angle" was silly. Retitle this movie--> "Billy's silly fantasy".

The people who liked this film are sick, because all it is, is just GORE GORE GORE!!!! So if you want mindless gore, this movie delivers it. This movie is not scary, it's just random gore! That is all that Hollywood can give us is just stupid and boring gore flicks like this. It [stinks] and don't borther seeing or even laying eyes on the cover, it is that stupid. Doesn't even diserve the star I gave it, and it is lucky to get that!
